Log Home Planning & Design

Lake Country Log Homes’ design services incorporate 25 years of expertise in log buildings. This expertise has made us a leader in the log home retail industry by providing professional log house plans for any custom design. Our log house planning and design process consists of a number of steps:

In the first phase of the log home planning the client submits sketch plans and/or basic requirements of the log home. Lake Country Log Homes prepares preliminary design drawings and if requested can also develop 3D presentations of the house.

Once the final custom log home plan is complete, a budget estimate is prepared for the log shell and material package. Log home design revisions are made before a final design drawing and quotation is submitted for final approval. Once the final approval is received the shop drawings are prepared and a delivery date is established for the custom log home.
