Revelstoke

The Revelstoke is a striking log home design distinguished by its dramatic prow front, expansive glazing, and impressive handcrafted timber details. With a 30′ x 38′ main footprint, this model provides 1,860 square feet of living space across the main and upper floors, along with 1,360 square feet of covered decks. An optional 1,240-square-foot walkout basement can expand the home to approximately 3,100 square feet.

The main floor features an open living, dining, and kitchen area positioned toward the front of the home, where angled windows and doors capture natural light and surrounding views. The kitchen includes a large island with seating and flows easily into the dining and living spaces. Two bedrooms and a full bathroom are located toward the rear of the floor, while extensive covered decks wrap around three sides of the home to create generous outdoor gathering areas.

Upstairs, an open loft overlooks the living area below and preserves the height and visual impact of the front window wall. A third bedroom and full bathroom provide a private upper-level retreat, while the open-to-below design strengthens the connection between the two floors. Optional handcrafted rafters add another layer of detail to the roof structure and front elevation.

The optional walkout basement includes an additional bedroom, bathroom, recreation room, laundry area, and mechanical space. Its placement beneath the main living level makes the Revelstoke particularly well suited to sloping properties, while also providing direct outdoor access and valuable additional living space.

Designed for mountain properties, lakefront settings, and view-oriented building sites, the Revelstoke brings together bold log construction, extensive covered outdoor space, and a flexible three-level layout. Its soaring front elevation, wraparound decks, and adaptable basement option make it equally suitable as a year-round residence or a spacious recreational retreat.

All of our plans are available in Western Red Cedar or Douglas Fir, with optional Flared Character Logs for added visual impact. We also offer four handcrafted building styles to suit your design vision: Full Scribe, Dovetail, Post & Beam, and Timber Frame.
