Building World Class Fishing Lodges Is Fun!

At Lake Country Log Homes, we enjoy building world class log fishing lodges, especially ones off the coast of our home province! Pictured below is Queen Charlotte Lodge, located at Haida Gwaii, an achipelago on British Columbia’s West Coast. This area is full of stunning scenery and is home of the Haida people (who have inhabited the area for 13,000 years). The Haida people are one of the Northwest Coast People. You can read a fascinating blog about their building methods by clicking here. This is also the area where we at Lake Country source the beautiful wood used in our Western Red Cedar log homes!
